Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE)

Various kinds of working electrodes are used in Rotating Disk Electrode. The electrode was made from PEEK material having strong resistance against organic solvent. And the surface can be simply refreshed by polishing with Cell Polishing Kit PK-2.

Application on CVS for plating evaluation
Perform copper plating upon glassy carbon electrode of RDE. After plating, using Cyclic Voltammetry Stripping (CVS) measurement, we can evaluate plating from copper dissolution peak. Right figure show change on copper dissolution peak with and without additive in plating solution. It found that additive in plating solution is playing an important role on plating process.
